When Geral Fauss, Spirit Industries’ founder, created the first oversized #1 hand back in the late 70’s no one realized at that time it would become the icon it is today. Mr. Fauss still holds the copyright for the #1 hand that was originally granted to him about 30 years ago. Not only has this item become a staple items for any fan, but it is commonplace for it to be seen in other venues outside the sports market. For 30+ years Spirit has been creating fun, sometimes whimsical, items with many uses & although we specialize in foam novelty items our line has grown to include a variety of other products such as crowd pleasing cheering accessories, sports promotional items, and great fundraising items as well as other non-sports related products.
