In 1893, Samuel Cristall began selling tailoring supplies to the growing number of shops in the Buffalo area. As the textile manufacturing trade began growing in the area, he started selling larger volumes of thread and supplies. In 1947 his son, S.M. Cristall took over the business and began expanding as a sales agent for many of the top mills in the business.

Today, S.M Cristall Co. is run by his daughter, Ginny, and her two sons, Gary and Jeff. S.M Cristall has expanded into a full line distributor and is proud to represent some of the premier companies in the industry today.

In 2008, S.M. Cristall purchased Point Distributors Inc. located in Chicago. Point Distributors embroidery supply is your fast and affordable choice for the most popular embroidery threads and accessories.

It has been our belief since day one that our customers are the reason we are here. We appreciate any opportunities to supply you with our products and look forward to proving our abilities.
