NuArc’s SPVF Direct Screen Vacuum Frames are sized for large and multiple screen exposures. These versatile vacuum frames can be rotated in a 360° arc. This makes it possible to load screens while the SPVF vacuum frame is in a horizontal position, and then rotate the frame to a vertical position. The frame can either face toward or away from the operator so that freestanding exposure units like NuArc’s 6K/3K Exposure System can operate from either side. In addition to the eight standard-size models of the SPVF, NuArc designs and manufactures custom sizes to match customers’ needs.

Heavy-duty maintenance-free vacuum pumps on SPVF units quickly evacuate the air under the blanket. NuArc’s unique manifold system ensures intimate contact by drawing vacuum evenly around the perimeter of the blanket frame. This unique approach eliminates the need to attach the vacuum directly to the blanket, adding to the longevity of the exceptionally flexible and resilient high-performance blanket material. These benefits are coupled with NuArc’s custom-designed positive-seal blanket bead profile to assure intimate contact between blanket, glass, and screen frame. All models of the SPVF also have NuArc’s exclusive patented vacuum release system. SPVF vacuum frames are solidly constructed of heavy-duty steel and are counterbalanced for easy, smooth rotation.
