A.W.T.’s Q-Flash™ Quartz Flash Cure Unit is designed for in-line flash curing at print stations on our popular automatic textile printing presses and can be retrofitted to equipment from other manufacturers. The Q-Flash can replace an unused print head or the standalone unit can operate over an open pallet. The flash cure cycle is electronically synchronized with press, streamlining operations for the ultimate in efficient production.
As the indexer moves into the print position, The Q-Flash heating section shifts into high power mode and reaches maximum temperature as the indexer reaches the next print position. The Q-Flash features quartz tubes which achieve curing temperatures in seconds. A variable speed blower provides even distribution of hot air over the pallet while printing and increases curing speed.
Upfront controls are easily accessible, or the Q-Flash can be controlled from the control panel of A.W.T.’s automatic textile presses. Sectional curing facilitates flash curing of smaller print areas. Adjustable head height ensures the proper distance between the Q-Flash and the pallet.
