To meet the demands of the expanding digital direct-to-garment marketplace, Insta Graphic Systems has developed the Model 158 Auto Release Clam Shell Press. A practical solution for the digital market, the Model 158 meets the needs of the busy retail environment. In addition to being used to apply traditional heat transfers, the 158 is ideal for curing direct-to-garment prints.
Following in the tradition of Insta quality, the 15”x20” Model 158 keeps the ergonomic compact clam style and integrated digital controller for time and temperature of the Model 138, but boasts a new time maximizing auto-release feature. After the operator closes the machine, the Model 158 will automatically open once the pre-set time has elapsed. This allows the operator to maximize his/her time while the transfer is dwelling without burning the garment.
Among its features are also a 60 degree opening for easy placement and removal of garments and digital time/temperature controls. The Model158 is also UL, CuL and CE approved, as well as, RoHS/WEEE compliant.
